Gloucester pottery:
TF3A Local mica-coated ware
Fabric
Soft to hard fabric, with oxidised reddish-orange surface, occasionally grey core. Very micaceous and can be very fine or rather 'open' textured. Rare red iron, quartz and calcareous inclusions. Wheel-thrown. Mica slip (cf. TF7, 25, 11A, 207).
Form
hemispherical bowls, tripod leg, reeded-rim bowls; globular beakers; indented beakers.
Decoration
Bosses, rouletting.
