Based on Midlands Yellow wares tradition. inclusionless, iron-free fabrics. Wheel-thrown, oxidized, with irregular glaze cover. Combinations of: clear glaze, usually over white or red slip, giving yellow or brown, sometimes overall red slip is used; trailed slip designs, including combing.

posset pots, inkpots, jars, small jugs, candlesticks.
