- Fabric
- An iron-rich fabric, usually very fine textured and always having a distinct micaceous sparkle. Wheel-thrown and oxidized. Five groups can be recognized with this fabric.
- Form
- jugs with plain bases (fifteenth-sixteenth century); bowls, plates, jars, dishes etc. (seventeenth-eighteenth century). Roof tiles also made in this fabric.
- Decoration
- a, plain; b, trailed white slip; c, overall slip, under glaze; d, sgraffitto (designs cut through the slip).
