Fabric
Recognized by the abundant voids left by burnt- out grass or chaff, and usually no other major inclusions. Very soft and often highly abraded. Two fabrics recognized from 41/75 Phase RA, A and B. Handmade and reduced normally BUT when used for bronze moulds is wheel-thrown (often with a white deposit on the surfaces, and traces of metal adhering.

unknown ('dark age'); bronze bell and cauldron moulds.

Pottery: 6th-9th c; moulds 10th-17th c.
