Gloucester pottery:
TF300 Oolitic-limestone-tempered ware
Fabric
Black fabric tempered with well-sorted, abundant sand. The principal components of the sand are individual ooliths c 1 mm across, derived from the weathering of oolitic limestone. No quartz grains are evident, nor is the fabric notably micaceous.
