Iron-rich, hard sand-tempered fabric, usually oxidized. Wheel-thrown.
Form
sagging- based, globular-bodied cooking pots with roller-stamped lattice decoration common, but not universal, on rim, late tenth-eleventh century. (No definite examples from Gloucester, except possibly Quay Lane site 59/74. Very common in Hereford
