- Fabric
- Hard, fine textured ranging from creamy-buff through to orange-red or pink (perhaps with a thin creamy wash). Inclusions variable - some fine quartz with a scatter of large quartzite, feldspar and composite rock fragments set in a lime-rich, slightly micaceous matrix. Some specimens have a 'rough-casting of coarse mixed sand applied by hand to areas around the base and neck.
